About Jes Moore

Hi, I'm Jesa

I trained in Fine Art with an emphasis in drawing, painting and sculpture at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. I studied graphic design in Columbus and attained both my degrees in this field, while continuing to practice my fine artwork. I combined graphic art, painting and sculptural explorations in encaustic works.
My background in illustration, stained glass, wood and metal work, mural painting, and digital art, even gardening all influence and inform each other as my creative processes develop and overlap.
As designer for clients, I am an excellent listener first, and an enthusiastic visual storyteller once I understand what the client needs! I have been known to accurately demonstrate visual language that was formerly difficult for the client to translate. My extensive art experience allows me to draw from many cultures, points of history and current trends to support my vision and that of my clients.
I currently work full time at my alma mater ODU as an admissions counselor and as a freelance graphic designer while showing my work in various galleries and other venues.
